Scott, do you think there are any lessons we can draw from the Conrail example -- in which several bankrupt railroads were reorganized in 1976 under federal guidance -- for today's situation in the auto industry? Conrail became quite healthy and profitable, and was eventually privatized and sold off by 1998. An example of the government doing something right?

Sounds interesting, but that's something I'm unfamiliar with, unfortunately.
